[Microlight Course'06]

My journey started the moment I left home, heading to the airport on the 7 Dec 2006.
Singapore -> New Delhi -> Udaipur
Duration from S'pore to New Delhi was around 5hrs and from New Delhi to Udaipur was 1hr 10mins.
New Delhi/Udaipur is 2 ½ hrs behind S'pore.
Udaipur is known as the "City of Lakes". It is the Srinagar of Rajasthan.
The people there are simple, humble, non-materialistic, devoutly following age-old traditions and customs. I love the people there!
During our course, we were living at The Lakend Hotel and our rooms were facing the lake. The scenery was beautiful!
We did site seeing almost everyday, learning about their history and culture.
Day 1 : Fri(8 dec) - Gandhi Garden
Day 2 : Sat(9 dec) - Fateh Sagar Lake
Day 3 : Sun(10 dec) - Largest Lake in Udaipur
Day 4 : Mon(11 dec) - Sajjangarh Fort
Day 5 : Tue(12 dec) - Maharana Pratap Smarak (Moti Magri)
Day 6 : Wed(13 dec) - Shilpgram, Nimage Mutter, Sukhadia Fountain
Day 7 : Thurs(14 dec) - Cultural Night/Youth Exchange Programme
Day 8 : Fri(15 dec) - Hukam Restaurant
Day 9 : Sat(16 dec) - Agricultural College, Vishal Megamart
Day 10 : Sun(17 dec) - Kumbhal Garh (Fortress), Maharana Pratap Museum Haldi Ghati
Day 11 : Mon(18 dec) - Cyber Cafe
Day 12 : Tue(19 dec) - Dinner with Rajayshuri's Family
Day 13 : Wed(20 dec) - Chittorgarh Fort/Vijaya Sthambh, The Victory Tower
Day 14 : Thurs(21 dec) - Parasailing, met nepalese dude!
Day 15 : Fri(22 dec) - Live Range/Skeet Shooting!
Day 16 : Sat(23 dec) - Last Day For Flying ZenAir Microlight
Day 17 : Sun(24 dec) - Udaipur -> New Delhi
Day 18 : Mon(25 dec) - New Delhi -> Singapore [Home Sweet Home!]
The Microlight training is done every morning and the three of us have completed at least 14hrs of flight! Great experience!
Our flying instructors are [Wing Commander: P Bhardwaj]&[Group Commander: SS Dholiya].
This is something I'll never forget!
